About Us
At Ocean State Medical, we are not your ordinary doctor's office!
Established in 1986 by Dr. Fred Ferri and Dr. Frank Savoretti, our practice has grown to include Dr. Alberto Savoretti, Dr. Vito Ferri, Dr. Amber Messitt and Dr. Christopher Ferri. We are currently accepting new patients. As a member of our practice you will always be evaluated and treated by a physician and never a mid-level (nurse practitioner or physician assistant).
Our focus is on developing relationships with our patients and to understand you better as both a person and a patient in order to provide superior, more personalized care. Through regular scheduled office visits, annual wellness exams, and even same day convenience-care, we build this relationship with the help of technology that can save you time and money—and lead to better health outcomes.
Our team of top doctors is dedicated to clinical excellence, passionate about primary care and committed to a modern approach for preventative medicine. We are a Patient-Centered Medical Home located inside the Johnston Medical Center.
Let our family take care of yours!
What is a Patient-Centered Medical Home?
A Patient-Centered Medical Home is an innovative team-based approach which facilitates the partnership between patients and their physicians. We believe that every patient deserves a Medical Home where health care is accessible, continuous, comprehensive, patient-centered, coordinated, compassionate, and culturally effective. Together, following evidence-based guidelines for medical care, our team will work to provide the best health care services possible for you. We are committed to providing our patients with the highest quality health care.
We have been recognized by NCQA as a Level 3 PCMH, the highest level possible.
